We are a private Peruvian university located in the city of Lima, the fourth oldest in the country. The university focuses on the areas of economics, business, institutional management and law. The current success case was deployed at the beginning of the career in Business Engineering, which today is one of the most important revenue producing for our institution.

Situation prior to the implementation of the Business Intelligence project

We did not have advanced technological solutions for the new career, because of that we searched for specialists and found AyniTech. They helped us with the implementation of technology solutions based on Business Intelligence. With their support, we started the process of training future engineers, at first with very small products and later on with very elaborated laboratories. These labs excelled and allowed us to train engineers with business knowledge.

What were the main challenges you faced in the implementation of the project?

The main challenge we faced was lack of knowledge. At the end, it transformed itself into an opportunity that allowed us to explore new technologies supported by AyniTech. They encouraged us to take the risk based on the close relationship of trust we built from the start of operations.

What were the main benefits at the end of the project?

The most important benefit was knowledge, which allowed students to know how business intelligence works in companies.
We went through a change and adaptation process that grew into a product that could be understood by the student. The idea was that he/she could perform, work and assimilate in a natural way Business Intelligence methods applied to their professional career.
